Music helps get message across

A song written by a rap musician who was caught drink driving is being used to help raise drink drive awareness.

Rap singer Love Isaac Sackey wrote the lyrics and the music after attending a drink drive rehabilitation course run by the TTC Group. The song is now to be used in TTC's campaign to educate people about the dangers of drink driving.

Police caught the 49-year-old musician when he drove his car into the back of another vehicle after drinking with a friend. He appeared before local magistrates and was given the chance of attending a rehabilitation course.

"As part of the course they showed us a video about victims and it made me cry," said Love." Others were crying too. It moved me a lot and I decided to write the song and get it produced onto a CD. Everyone needs to know about drink driving."

To receive a CD of the drink driving song contact Elaine Adams on 01952 505026.
