3D resource connects with children

A 3D DVD based educational resource for children aged 9 - 11 years has recently been launched.

Street Moves is designed to draw pupils' attention by bringing characters to life through 3D animation techniques.

The interactive DVD enables children to take part in decision making by guiding characters through road safety exercises which evolve into lessons and discussions.

The production team behind Street Moves describes it as 'an attempt to break free from the comfortable, safe visual styles that seem to be synonymous with road safety resources'.

52,000 copies of Street Moves are in circulation in schools across the UK.

Street Moves is accompanied by a website - www.streetmoves.org.uk - where a sample video can be viewed and lesson plans downloaded. Further information and prices can also be found there.
