Play Alive
Play Alive has been developed by Cornwall County Council's Road Safety Unit to enable Pre-School and Nursery staff to emphasise the importance of Road Safety Education.
The pack will help prepare young children to become more responsible for their own safety by gradually developing perception, movement and behaviour patterns.
Play Alive comes in a plastic wallet containing:
- A leader's handbook which includes stories and photocopiable colouring sheets.
- Seven different colourful activity cards each covering a road safety theme.
- Patterns for traffic tabards and puppets.

Prepare Them for the Roads
Booklet and height-chart. Aimed at parents of pre-school children to inform of the main road safety issues for that age group. The height chart provides a good reminder of the main points in the booklet.
Booklet- £0.20 (multiples 350) available in English or Welsh.
Height-chart £0.15 (multiples of 100) available in English or English/Welsh. Postage and delivery costs to be added to all orders.

"Stepping Out Together – a lesson for life"
"Stepping Out Together" is a high quality full colour road safety booklet full of pictures and suggestions for parents and carers to use with young children.
Topics cover holding hands, sitting quietly on the bus, using child restraints, people who help us, being seen at night and lots, lots more.
Ideal for distribution to parents at playgroups and nurseries.
