Cardiff launches road safety website for schools

Cardiff City Council’s Road Safety Centre has recently launched a new bi-lingual interactive schools’ road safety website - www.roadsafety.cardiff.gov.uk

This colourful, user-friendly website is suitable for all age groups and abilities and boasts a number of key features, including:

• Information about all aspects of road safety education training and publicity
• Curriculum linked road safety educational resources and downloadable colouring sheets
• A simple road safety database
• Details of local road safety services
• A comprehensive search facility
• Links to games, quizzes and other road safety websites
• On-line registration and login

The website also features ‘Roadie’, a cartoon road safety character designed to appeal to younger children.
