Popular booklet available for autumn Walk to School event

A ‘Walking to School’ booklet produced by Sandwell Traffic and Road Safety Services proved so popular during Walk to School Week in May that it is also being made available for the autumn campaign.

The book, which comes complete with five stickers, costs just 10p and covers a wide range of topics including safety, fitness, the environment and walking buses. Presented in a lively cartoon style it also makes reference to several relevant websites.

Any authority requiring copies for the Walk to School event in October should place their order no later than 13 August please.
