Chorley shoppers
buy road safety message
Shoppers at Clayton Green ASDA, Chorley got more than they bargained
for when Lancashire County Council's Road Safety Group held its
first 2003 summer roadshow at the store last week.
The Groups Together We Can Make the Difference
strategy is celebrating its fifth anniversary in 2003.
"Over the last five years our high profile strategy has gained
support from over 20,000 individuals, organisations, companies and
schools," principal road safety adviser, Clare Farrer,
explained. "Make the Difference encourages support
and action from a wide range of groups and individuals and we hope
that this will continue."
Further roadshows will take place across the county throughout the
summer months - see www.lancashireroadsafety.co.uk
for further details.
