Partnership conference sets out to ‘analyse the facts, not the spin’

Partnership working is high on the Government agenda with funding usually dependent on taking a multi agency approach.

The Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership has been in operation for nearly three years and during this time has successfully bid for Invest To Save Budget funding and has implemented numerous innovative road safety projects.

The Partnership is now organising a conference to share the experiences it has gained during this period. Does it work? And what are the pitfalls? These are two of the key questions that the one-day event, ‘Partnerships in practice - analysing the facts, not the spin’ will set out to answer. The conference will be held on Friday 26 September at the Grantham Marriott Hotel in Lincolnshire.

The conference will also offer a national dimension to partnership working in the road safety arena through keynote speeches from Robert Gifford, executive director of Pacts and Susan Beck, national spokesperson - safety camera partnerships.

Conference capacity has been limited to 150 delegates and expressions of interest should be forwarded by Friday 27 June in order to secure a place. The delegate fee is £95 plus VAT, which includes the full-day conference ticket, morning and afternoon refreshments, two course luncheon, free car parking and delegate pack.

To book a place or for further information contact the conference administrator at the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership on 01522 805800 or staying.alive@lincolnshire.gov.uk
