Mobile cameras
hit Hertfordshires roads
The Hertfordshire Safety Camera Partnership launched its mobile
safety camera operation towards the end of last month.
The new mobile vans and sites were unveiled at Police HQ in Welwyn
Garden City by Partnership representatives.
"The vans will be out and about in the county enforcing speed
limits and helping reduce the number of people killed and seriously
injured on our roads," said councillor Derrick Ashley.
"Hertfordshire County Council has a statutory duty to work
to reduce the number of road accidents and casualties in the county.
We want our cameras to help us achieve a more pleasant, safe and
comfortable environment."
