High visibility jacket a hit in Dorset

A specialist clothing company is pioneering a high visibility jacket for children that is proving very popular in Dorset.

The jacket is lined and fully waterproof with standard reflective tapes and is available in red or yellow for ages 4/5, 6/7 and 8/9. The price is £27.99.

The company, Xinteractive Clothing, specialises in design and manufacture of protective clothing, namely flight suits. "We believe the child’s high visibility jacket is unique - we have not seen anything like it marketed elsewhere," said Xinteractive’s Edward Johnson. "It was designed to assist the local air ambulance help raise funds for charity and is on display in many supermarkets here in Dorset - and many hundreds have been sold."

Xinteractive Clothing has recently started to promote the jacket in various family magazines to a wider UK audience, and the company hopes other supermarkets around the country will also stock it.
