Beacon launch planned for June

The six Beacon authorities will launch the 2006/7 Road Safety Beacon theme at a Learning Exchange event in Birmingham during June.

Road safety professionals are invited to attend, and to begin the process of engaging with the Beacons with a view to using them as a resource to drive improvements at their authority.

The event will provide practical tips for service improvement and feature interactive workshops based around the successful approaches of the Beacons. It will also provide details of future activities such as open days, secondments and mentoring opportunities.
