Endangered species - The Yellow Capped Crossing Patrol
An imaginative recruitment campaign highlighting the plight of the endangered Yellow Capped School Crossing Patrol, Crossingus Patrollum, will be launched this week by Warwickshire's road safety team.
'This rare breed plays a vital role in protecting our young - but numbers are falling and we need you to act now' the campaign says through posters, displays, radio advertising and reply-paid postcards.
The campaign launches on 26 April with a photo opportunity of an `endangered species' school crossing patrol emerging from a delivery crate at Shire Hall, Warwick, ready to go out to begin work in schools across Warwickshire.
