| Road safety calendar celebrates 40th birthday
2004 was a special year for North Lanarkshire Council's road safety calendar, as the project celebrated its 40th birthday.
89 schools participated in this year's competition, with around 12,000 children entering their work. The winning entry was submitted by Rachel Johnson, a primary 2 pupil from Tannochside Primary School. A number of other pupils from the school also received a highly commended certificate.
