Congress will seeks ways to change drivers' behaviour
More than 250 delegates will attend RoSPA's National Road Safety Congress, The Road to Safer Behaviour, at the Blackpool Hilton Hotel, this week.
"Given the high risks faced by motorcyclists there will be a special focus on improving training for them and helping them to develop their experience - because risk reduces as experience increases," said Kevin Clinton, RoSPA head of road safety.
"We will consider detailed research into why and how crashes happen, national policies for reducing them, and practical case studies of successful accident prevention schemes."
