'Ride with Attitude' scoops campaign of the quarter award

Kent & Medway's Ride with Attitude campaign team has won the LARSOA campaign of the quarter award for the period October- December 2006.

Ride With Attitude, a web-based campaign written by bikers for bikers, is funded by the Kent & Medway Safety Camera Partnership, Kent County Council and Medway Council.

The award judging panel was particularly impressed by the campaign's initiative to ask experienced bikers to pass on tips to those who have just started riding, to help keep them safe over the winter months.

Rachel Wall, spokesperson for Ride with Attitude, said: "Experienced bikers are fully aware of the extra safety precautions they need to take to stay safe during the winter months, so we are asking for their help to pass on valuable knowledge to younger or less experienced bikers."

The award will be presented in the next few weeks.
