RoSCOW publishes bilingual road safety calendar

The Road Safety Council of Wales has developed a new bilingual road safety calendar for schools for the academic year 2004/2005.

The calendar highlights important road safety messages for children in Key Stages 1 and 2. Each month is dedicated to a specific road safety theme and features suggested class activities linked to the National Curriculum.

The calendar, which is distributed free of charge to schools by road safety officers in all 22 Welsh Local Authorities, features a bright modern design and a new group of characters who have been created to appeal to children. The calendar also includes competitions and information for teachers on road safety initiatives and contacts throughout Wales.
