Please close this window to return to the LARSOA news pages Slow right down, bike star says The Fife Safety Camera Partnership and British Super Bike champion Niall McKenzie have teamed up to target bikers with the message Slow right down. "There are many miles of scenic rural routes (in Fife), popular with both leisure and sports bike riders," said the Partnership's Andy Jones . "These routes are inviting and may appear to be relatively traffic free but can prove treacherous due to a number of factors, including their winding and narrow nature and their unpredictability." A series of events have been organised in conjunction with champion biker Niall McKenzie, the Knockhill circuit and the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM). On 9 August at Knockhill, Niall will give expert tuition to bikers in a safe and controlled environment - and the IAM will be on hand to offer their Skill for Life training package at a reduced cost. For more information contact Andy Jones on 01592 41 1911 or Andrew.Jones@fife.pnn.police.uk.
