Safety poems published in English and Welsh

A book of road safety poems written 'by children, for children' is now available in Welsh and English.

Outside my front door is a collection of winning poems selected from thousands of entries to an annual road safety poem competition run by Capita Symonds road safety team in conjunction with Heddlu Gwent Police.

The young poets who have contributed to the book are aged between seven and 14 years, and the poems cover a range of styles and moods - funny, thoughtful, dramatic and sad.

Every school in the five Gwent authorities will receive a free copy of both the English and Welsh language versions. Copies may also be purchased for £10 plus VAT and postage and packing.

For further information contact Penny Thorpe at Capita Symonds on 01633 463376, or penny.thorpe@capita.co.uk
