Somerset experiments with till receipts

Somerset County Council's road safety team is to run the For my girlfriend speed campaign across till receipts in Morrisons stores across the county.

The campaign will run in stores at Bridgewater, Glastonbury, Yeovil and Taunton for three months (June - August), during which time approximated 450,000 till receipts will be issued.

The campaign includes a competition to win £200 of shopping vouchers. "We have set up the competition to assess how many people read the back of till receipts - to see if this method of advertising is effective," explains Rina Cameron, Somerset's road safety manager.
