LAPS publishes new ‘Walk to School’ booklet

The London Accident Prevention Council (LAPC) has published a new eight-page booklet entitled ‘Walking to School’.

"The booklet aims to encourage parents and carers to see walking as a safe and healthy alternative to the school run," explains LAPC’s Barbara Cronin. "This important resource complements our ever popular ‘Caring Parent’ and ‘Driving Children to School’ campaigns."

The booklet costs 15p per copy plus postage and packing. It is available for local authorities in London and across the rest of the UK to utilise - and RSOs are encouraged to order in time for Walk to School Week, 24-28 May.
