As anticipated, Steve Whitehouse formally stood down last week as LARSOA chair, to be succeeded by former vice chair Simon Ettinghausen, RSO for the London Borough of Bexley.
The new vice chair is Malcolm Burns, group manager safety policy, Wiltshire County Council.
Both appointments are for a two year period, and were ratified at the LARSOA AGM at Camden Town Hall, London on Tuesday 22 March. A report on the AGM will be published in next week's news update (w/comm 4 April).
