On average, over 100 drivers of company vehicles are detected speeding across the Partnerships' areas each day. "With potentially over 40,000 speeding detections a year being sent to companies by the four Partnerships, we have devised a series of radio adverts and an information pack to highlight the problem," a campaign spokesperson explained. The pack provides information for employees and employers alike on their responsibilities under the law, and advises them of the speed limits applicable to their vehicles and road classification. The packs are being sent to over 3,500 companies that operate company cars, vans and trucks. The radio campaign will run across seven radio stations for two weeks from 14 March and then for a further week from 4 April.
