Sandwell upgrades Brownies pack

Sandwell's road safety team has produced a new version of its award winning activity pack for Brownies.

The pack has been published in response to changes that have been implemented by the Guide Association to its curriculum for the road safety badge.

The pack contains six sections featuring activities and games based around the themes of the badge.

"It's a definite improvement on previous editions as we have combined photographs with cartoons and illustrations to give a more varied and interesting approach," says Sandwell’s John Billington. "Working with the pack should be entertaining as well as memorable. As there are 273, 000 Brownies in the UK there is a real opportunity to influence a massive group of children."

The packs are available at £1.20 each and every road safety unit in the country will shortly receive a free sample copy.
