Seatbelt
commercial returns to TV screens
The THINK! campaigns current seatbelt advertisement, Backwards,
makes a return to television screens during the course of this week.
The commercial is on air 10-16 May inclusive.
The commercial shows what happens to three young men who are involved
in a car crash when they are not belted in. The sequence is then
rerun with the three wearing seatbelts.
"The aim of the campaign is to stress to drivers and passengers
the importance of wearing a seatbelt in both the front and the back
of a vehicle," says Dawn Lauder, publicity manager
with the THINK! team. "The campaign is based on the insight
that the real crash happens inside the car."
