The report says that Medway Council in Kent has introduced the scheme to persuade drivers who go too fast to face the possible consequences of their actions. Similar schemes are being offered nationwide as part of a government campaign to persuade motorists that speed cameras are not just there to collect revenue. www.larsoa.org.uk
