Please close this window to return to the LARSOA news pages Children's Traffic Club revamped for Salford The Neighbourhood Road Safety Initiative and Children's Traffic Club have collaborated to develop a new version of the resource for pre-school children in disadvantaged areas of Salford. "The Children's Traffic Club is highly respected," said NRSI education specialist Glyn Henry . "However, we felt there was an opportunity to revise the literature for areas where there are high levels of low literacy. "The project will be trialled and evaluated in Salford and we feel there is great potential for the more pictorial approach of the new books. Our aim is to ensure no one is excluded from the obvious benefits of the Children's Traffic Club and the valuable road safety messages it teaches."
