Bracknell RSOs sell reflective items during half term week

Pedestrians, motorists and other road users in Bracknell are being encouraged to stay safe this winter by investing in reflective safety jackets, reflective pin badges and snap bands being offered for sale by Bracknell Forest Borough Council.

Council officers manned an exhibition vehicle at a local Sainsbury’s store and in Bracknell town centre for two days during half term. The reflective materials are also available from the Council’s Environment Department. "We had a great response from the public and sold many items," said RSO Chris Pickett.

To help parents, children, cyclists and drivers avoid accidents during the winter months the road safety team has also put together a simple guide with a number of tips.
