| Leicestershire buses promote road safety
Leicestershire's road safety team has sponsored two buses to promote important road safety messages.
One side of the bus reminds drivers to always buckle up and wear a seatbelt, while the other side encourages motorists to slow down. The graphics cover the side and rear of each bus. The windows are covered in special film, which allows passengers to see out, and are visible to everyone on the outside. The buses will be used on various routes throughout Leicestershire.
"The buses are a great way of promoting road safety directly to a large number of road users on a daily basis," said senior road safety officer James Gibson. "We hope that the message gets everyone to belt up and to drive within the speed limit and at a speed appropriate to the weather and traffic conditions."
