New campaign is just the ticket

Northamptonshire County Council's road safety group is launching a driver awareness campaign as part of Road Safety Week, which takes place nationally 8-11 November.

Working drivers and visitors who travel into Northampton will find a series of road safety messages on the reverse of car park tickets, each displaying a number that can be checked on the group's website to claim a number of prizes. The campaign will run for three months and over one million tickets will be distributed.

Promotional messages include road safety issues such as mobile phones, seat belts, head restraints, tyre safety and tailgating.
