Cornwall launches young driver programme

Cornwall's Road Safety Unit is aiming to raise awareness among students with a hard-hitting young driver education programme during Road Safety Week (7-13 Nov).

The scheme aims to inform, influence and educate the next generation of young drivers through a series of workshops. The activity-based workshops use a mixture of videos, problem solving exercises, practical demonstrations and discussions and focused on knowledge, attitude and risk perception.

The programme aims to encourage responsible attitudes to driving at the start of a young person's driving career.
