Stop means stop launches in London

Hammersmith & Fulham's road safety team is spearheading a London-wide Stop means stop school crossing patrol (SCP) campaign.

The campaign, which is funded by Transport for London (TfL) and will run for 12 months, was launched at Hammersmith Town Hall on 8 November. Bus back advertisements remind drivers of the legal requirement to stop for a SCP.

At the launch, Year Six pupils from local schools made presentations about their lollipop ladies to underline the value and appreciation of the work they perform.
