Hertfordshire launches road safety video

A road safety video warning about the dangers of distractions while walking, cycling or driving was launched last week by Hertfordshire's Road Safety Unit.

Texting on mobile phones and listening to music while walking or cycling are just two of the distractions that feature in the 10 minute film, which will be used to help teach Key Stage 3 students about road safety in PSHE lessons. The video, produced in partnership with Oaklands College and supported by Hertfordshire Police, was launched to coincide with European Mobility Week, where the theme is Safe Streets For Children .
