RoadPeace targets aggressive drivers
RoadPeace is running a national a campaign against aggressive driving, with support and funding from the DfT.
The campaign focuses on four types of aggressive driving behaviour - speeding, red-light running, tailgating and endangering pedestrians.
Brigitte Chaudhry , Founder of RoadPeace, said: "If we are to eradicate anti-social behaviour in society then we must eradicate double standards in relation to anti-social driving behaviour, which is the cause of untold misery and pain. We hope that by highlighting the main forms of aggressive driving RoadPeace members will contribute to safer roads and fewer casualties."
Throughout August, RoadPeace groups raised awareness of road death and injury through individual exhibitions, leafleting and events at locations across Lancashire, Dorset, East Anglia, Somerset, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Lincolnshire, Kent, Devon, and Liverpool.
Campaign posters and leaflets can be ordered from RoadPeace,
