THINK! rural speed campaign on the way
A new THINK! campaign will be launched at the end of October to remind motorists to take more care when driving on rural roads.
The key message will be: 'You're three times more likely to die in a car crash on a rural road. THINK!'
The campaign will primarily focus on the dangers of driving at inappropriate speeds for the conditions on rural roads, and will comprise national radio advertising, petrol pump ambient advertising, national and regional PR, and a poster for RSOs to use locally on bus backs and bus shelters.
Further information about the campaign will be available on the THINK! website later this week. Alternatively, contact Emma Rundle at emma.rundle@dft.gsi.gov.uk, or Nikki Edwards at nikki.edwards@dft.gsi.gov.uk.
