Speed teaching resource published
The For my girlfriend young driver campaign has produced a teaching resource for use by educational establishments.
The resource - which comprises a DVD showing a crash scene reconstruction, a one-hour lesson plan and worksheets - is linked to key stage 4 PSHE and Citizenship National Curriculum. In addition, it can be delivered to post-GCSE students to form an interesting business studies project.
The resource sets out to communicate the potentially tragic consequences of driving too fast, and to equip students to communicate the dangers of speeding to their peers.
The resource is available for local authorities and camera partnerships that participate in the FMG campaign to purchase.
For further information about the resource contact Sally Bartrum, sbartrum@stennik.com.
