Theme park venue for child seat event

Warrington road safety unit held an event last week to promote the forthcoming law change for child car restraints.

The event was held at the Gulliver's World theme park in Warrington on 30 August, and the road safety team was supported by the Peek-a-boo nursery superstore, Cheshire Fire & Rescue and Cheshire Police.

"Gulliver's World attracts around 4000 customers each day so this was a fantastic opportunity for us to advise the target audience about the new law change," said Beverley Mercer, RSO

"The event was a success - we had a really good day answering public queries about the new law and offering free child car-seat safety checks.''
