‘Amy’ campaign makes comeback

Speed_amy
A campaign warning motorists about the potentially fatal consequences of speeding is to be used for a second successive year in Surrey.

The ‘Amy’ campaign, developed by the Surrey Safety Camera Partnership, will run during September. The poster depicts a young girl crying as drivers are asked: ‘How would you tell Amy that you’ve killed her parents?’.

The design will be used on bus backs, and on posters distributed to businesses, libraries, council offices, police stations, hospitals and doctors’ surgeries across Surrey.

Adrian Creek, partnership communications manager, said: “It is unusual for us to use the same campaign artwork for two successive years, but we had some excellent feedback on the Amy poster and believe it will continue to have a major impact.”
