Meet ‘Captain Camera’

Other_mad
‘Captain Camera’ is the face of a new project to harness people power to bring about reductions in crashes and casualties on West Yorkshire roads.

Captain Camera is urging people to ‘be a hero’ and ‘Make a Difference’ by signing an on-line pledge to take care of themselves and those around them on the roads. Those who sign the promise receive a certificate, a car sticker and a ‘casualty countdown crusader’ lapel badge.

Philip Gwynne, West Yorkshire Casualty Reduction Partnership, said: “One of the most effective ways we can make the roads safer for everyone is to do the things we know we ought to do... the commonsense things... the right things. Imagine how much safer our roads could be.”
