The latest issue of Hertfordshire Biker is now available.
Funded by Hertfordshire County Council, Hertfordshire Constabulary and the Hertfordshire Safety Camera Partnership, the magazine focuses on local issues, people and places while communicating key safety messages.
The free publication is distributed to around 10,000 bikers across the county via direct mail, the police, motorcycle dealers, biking events and training organisations. It is also available in libraries, doctors' and dentists' waiting rooms, and men's hairdressers.
The new issue looks at the problem of cheap protective clothing, with fake safety ratings, increasingly available on-line and at boot fairs. Some of this clothing was tested and failed so quickly that the results could hardly be measured.
