Borough supports THINK! speed campaign

Speed_hammersmith_supports_killyourspeed
‘Kill your speed or live with it’ – that’s the message from Hammersmith & Fulham Council’s road safety team to local residents.

The council is supporting the DfT campaign of the same name to get motorists to slow down on the borough's roads.

Posters and leaflets showing the consequences of driving too fast have been distributed across the borough. And on 25 March, road safety officers from H&F, Transport for London’s safety camera team and police officers from the local safer neighbourhood team attended the Kings Mall Shopping Centre to offer information and advice on safer driving.

More than 1500 information leaflets were handed out, and the public reaction at the event was one of overwhelming support for the council’s efforts to make local roads safer.
