'Keep your wheels', campaign says

LOSE_YOUR_WHEELS.jpg

The West of England Road Safety Partnership has launched a new campaign targeting younger scooter and motorbike riders.

The Partnership says the campaign was developed on the back of research indicating a feeling of indestructibility among the target group.

'Keep Your Wheels' is based around an incentive scheme through which participants are rewarded for regularly logging onto www.keepyourwheels.com and completing online quizzes and maintenance check lists. Participants can earn up to £100 over 12 months for doing so - but will lose potential earnings for reasons including getting points on their licence.

The scheme was promoted via bus back advertising, poster packs for schools and youth clubs, and starter packs issued at CBT Test Centres.
