Blood drink drive campaign breaks

MYIMAGE101

Nine road safety teams will participate in a summer drink drive campaign featuring a pint of blood in a chilled beer glass.

Under the heading ‘One for the road’ the campaign reminds people that ‘drink drivers spill blood and cause casualties’. The campaign will break week commencing 4 June.

Campaign activities vary from area to area but include distribution of posters, washroom media in pubs and clubs, and advertising on parking tickets and bus backs.

The areas covered by the campaign are Birmingham, Bristol, Herefordshire, Humberside, Leicestershire, Peterborough, Reading, Thurrock and West Berkshire.
