Poster helps improve awareness

This could be you

Hundreds of posters showing fire-fighters at the scene of a crash involving a drink driver, combined with a series of safety messages, will be displayed at sites across the Borough including doctors' surgeries, dentists' waiting rooms and public toilets. The poster will be launched at Redcar Fire Station on 13 March.

The Council's road safety manager Mike Hall said: "The poster really does say it all. These are the key causation factors responsible for road casualties.

"We have used the single message before, but this time we believe a list of messages can be effective as long as we site them in areas where people can sit down and take notice. We hope we can achieve that."
