Partnership issues manslaughter reminder

OTHER_DBS_ADVERT
The Kent & Medway Safety Camera Partnership reminded businesses to check their health and safety policies as the New Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act came into force on 6 April.

The Act means that an organisation will be guilty of corporate manslaughter if serious failures in the management of health and safety causes death.

The Partnership is providing educational literature for organisations to give to drivers, and running a press and radio advertising campaign. A website has also been developed which includes safety tips, useful links and more details about the Act.
